The Capital City Condors
Founded in 2008, by Jim and Shana Perkins, the Capital City Condors, a registered Canadian Charity, is an award-winning, fully inclusive ice hockey team for children, youth, and independent adults living with physical or cognitive disabilities.
The organization emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and most of all, FUN. The charity provides members with a supportive team atmosphere to play hockey regardless of their skill level. It is a rewarding experience for the players, parents and volunteers to see dreams come true and the personal growth of the athletes on and off the ice.
During its 10 years of activity, the Capital City Condors has grown to include teams in Kanata, Gloucester, and Cambridge, Ontario. Plans are also currently underway to expand into Montreal, Quebec and Nashville, Tennessee so that even more players can join the team!
